Located in Kidron, Israel, in an extensive area of olive vineyards, ancient tombs, and funerary monuments that divides Jerusalem’s Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives, this spacious, comfortable, and luminous house enjoys expansive grounds full of green vegetation, giving us the opportunity to easily be in contact with nature.
The main idea of this project was to create a connection between the front and the back of the house.
It covers a total area of 200 square feet and was designed by Henkin Irit & Shavit Zohar in 2017.
Distributed in a single floor with open spaces where we can find, sharing the same space, social areas, living room, dining room, and kitchen, it looks spacious and functional.
Its furniture, mostly made of wood, stands out against the white of its walls, giving it a touch of warmth.
The modern kitchen, designed in white and with plenty of space for storage, is illuminated during the day with the natural light that enters through the immense glass doors that lead to the patio and which, at the same time, allow it to take advantage of the wonderful views to the outside.
The dining room consists of a round wooden table with modern chairs in gray.
The bedrooms, simple and practical, have large closets.
